Burnett's Gin

Satan's Whiskers Cocktail
1/2 oz. Sweet Vermouth
1/2 oz. Dry Vermouth
1/2 oz. Burnett's Gin
1/2 oz. Orange Juice
1/4 oz. Harlequin Orange Liqueur
1 dash orange bitters
Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.

Gin Swizzle
2 oz. Burnett's Gin
1/2 tsp. bitters
1/2 oz. lime juice
1 tsp. sugar
Iced club soda
Shake Burnett's Gin, bitters, lime juice and sugar well with ice.  Strain into a tall 14 oz. glass half-filled with ice. Add soda and stir.

Horse's Neck with Gin
Peel of whole lemon
2 oz. Burnett's Gin
1/2 oz. lemon juice
Iced ginger ale
To peel lemon, start at stem end, using a sharp paring knife, and cut peel about 1/2 inch wide in a continuous strip until lemon is completely peeled.  Place peel in a 14 oz. highball glass so that the top of peel overlaps rim of glass, with the rest spiraling down into glass.  Fill glass with coarsely cracked ice.  Pour gin and lemon juice into glass.  Fill with ginger ale and stir.

Strawberry Cream Cooler
1 1/2 oz. Burnett's Gin
1/4 cup frozen sliced strawberries (fruit and syrup), thawed
1 oz. lemon juice
2 tbsp. cream
1 tsp. sugar
Iced club soda
Put Burnett's Gin, strawberries, lemon juice, cream and sugar into blender.  Blend for 10-15 seconds at high speed.  Pour into a tall 14 oz. glass.  Add a splash of soda and ice to fill glass and stir.

Alabama Fizz
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tsp. powdered sugar
2 oz. Burnett's Gin
Carbonated water
Fresh mint sprigs
Combine lemon juice, powdered sugar and Burnett's Gin.  Shake well, adding cracked ice.  Strain into a highball glass over two ice cubes.  Fill with carbonated water. Add two sprigs of fresh mint.

Bermuda Bouquet
Juice of 1/4 orange
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tsp powdered sugar
1 1/2 oz. Burnett's Gin
1 oz. Apricot flavored brandy
1 tsp. Grenadine
1/2 tsp. Triple Sec
Combine juice of orange and lemon, powdered sugar, Burnett's Gin, brandy, grenadine and triple sec.  Shake with ice and strain into highball glass with ice cubes.

Robert E. Lee Cooler
Juice of 1/2 lime
1/2 tsp. powdered sugar
2 oz. carbonated water
2 oz. Burnett's Gin
Ginger ale
Orange or lemon peel
Into a collins glass put the lime juice, powdered sugar, carbonated water and stir.  Add ice cubes and Burnett's Gin.  Fill with ginger ale and stir again.  Add spiral of orange or lemon peel and dangle end over rim of glass.

Gin Daisy
1 1/2 oz. Burnett's Gin
1/2 oz. lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp. raspberry syrup
Iced club soda
1 slice lemon
2 sprigs mint
Shake Burnett's Gin, lemon juice and raspberry syrup well with ice.  Strain into a tall 8 oz. glass half-filled with ice.  Add soda.  Garnish with lemon slice and mint sprig.

Golden Gin Fizz
2 oz. Burnett's Gin
1 /2 oz. lemon juice
1 egg yolk
2 tsp. sugar
Iced club soda
1 slice lemon
Freshly ground nutmeg
Shake Burnett's Gin, lemon juice, egg yolk and sugar well with ice.  Strain into a tall 14 oz. glass half-filled with ice.  Fill glass with soda and stir.

South Side
2 oz. Burnett's Gin
1/2 oz. lemon juice
1 tsp. sugar
2 sprigs fresh mint
Shake Burnett's Gin, lemon juice and sugar well with ice.  Strain into pre-chilled cocktail glass.  Tear several leaves of each mint sprig before adding to drink.

Pompano
1 oz. Burnett Gin
1/2 oz. Dry vermouth
1 oz. grapefruit juice
4 dashes bitters
1 slice orange
Shake Burnett's Gin, vermouth, grapefruit juice and bitters well with ice.  Strain over rocks in pre-chilled old-fashioned glass.  Garnish with orange slice.

Minted Gin
1 1/2 oz. Burnett's Gin
1/2 oz. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. sugar
2 sprigs fresh mint
1 slice lemon
1/2 slice orange
Shake Burnett's Gin, lemon juice and sugar well with ice.  Strain into pre-chilled glass with rocks.  Garnish drink with lemon and orange slices.  Tear mint leaves before placing on rocks.

Morro
1 oz. Burnett's Gin
1/2 oz. rum
1/2 oz. lime juice
1/2 oz. pineapple juice
1/2 tsp. sugar
Shake Burnett's Gin, rum, lime juice, pineapple juice and sugar with ice.  Strain into pre-chilled sugar-frosted glass (moisten rim of glass and dip into sugar).

Passion Cup
2 oz. Burnett's Gin
2 oz. orange juice
1 oz. passion fruit juice
1 oz. Pina Colada mix or equal parts of pineapple juice and coconut milk
Maraschino cherry
Mix Burnett's Gin, orange juice, passion fruit and Pina Colada mix with cracked ice in a shaker or blender and pour into a chilled wine goblet.  Garnish with maraschino cherry.

Mule's Hind Leg Cocktail
1/2 oz. Burnett's Gin
1/2 oz. Benedictine brandy
1/2 oz. Applejack
2 oz. maple syrup
1/2 oz. apricot brandy
Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.

Parisian Cocktail
1 oz. Dry vermouth
1 oz. Crème de Cassis
1 oz. Burnett's Gin
Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.

Queen's Cocktail
1/2 slice pineapple, crushed
1/2 oz. Dry vermouth
1/2 oz. Sweet vermouth
1 oz. Burnett's Gin
Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.

Peter Pan Cocktail
1/2 oz. bitters
1/2 oz. orange juice
1/2 oz. Dry vermouth
1/2 oz. Burnett's Gin
Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.

Will Rogers Cocktail
1/2 oz. orange juice
1/2 oz. Dry vermouth
1/2 oz. Burnett's Gin
1 oz. Curacao
Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.

Cherry Kiss
1 oz. Burnett's Gin
1/2 oz. maraschino liqueur
2 oz. pineapple juice
3 dashes of grenadine
Shake well over ice, strain into a Martini glass and top with grated nutmeg.

Christmas Cocktail
1 oz. Burnett's Gin
1 oz. Du Bouchett Peppermint Schnapps
Grenadine
Coat a Martini or pony glass with grenadine, pour gin and peppermint schnapps over ice, shake, strain and pour into glass.

Singapore Sling
1 oz. Burnett's Gin
1/2 oz. Grenadine
1/2 oz. sweet 'n' sour
3/4 oz. Bols Cherry Brandy
1 slice orange
1 maraschino cherry
Pour Burnett's Gin, grenadine, and sweet 'n' sour into an iced mixing glass and shake.  Strain into glass with ice and fill will with Sprite.  Float cherry brandy and garnish with orange slice and a cherry.
