Christian Brothers Amber Drink Recipes

Christian Brothers Continental
1 oz. Christian Brothers Brandy
Splash of Harlequin
1 1/2 oz. Cranberry juice
1/2 oz. Grapefruit juice

Strain into a chilled martini glass.


La Vesuvio
3 lemon wedges, halved
1 oz. simple syrup
6 mint leaves
1 oz. Bacardi O
1 oz. Christian Brothers Brandy
Lemon wheel soaked in Bacardi 151

Place lemon wedges, simple syrup and mint into mixing glass and muddle.  Add Bacardi O and Christian Brothers Brandy, fill with ice, shake well and strain into a Martini glass.  Float and flame lemon wheel.


Blackberry Shrub (serves 3)
2 1/2 pints blackberries
1/4 C. water
3/4 C. sugar
1 1/2 cinnamon sticks
1 pint Christian Brothers Brandy

Simmer blackberries with water, cinnamon sticks and sugar until the berry juices are released and the sugar is dissolved.  Let cool.  Strain the berry syrup into a glass jar and add the brandy.  Cover and set the shrub aside for at least 1 month.  Serve in a tumbler over ice, topped with still or sparkling water and a slice of lemon.


French 90
1 oz. Christian Brothers Brandy
1/2 oz. Fresh lime juice
1/4 oz. Monin sugar syrup
Top up with chilled Perrier Jouët Champagne

Shake the ingredients with ice and strain into flute glass, then top with champagne and lightly stir.


Olympic Cocktail
1 oz. Orange juice
1 oz. Curaçao
1 oz. Christian Brothers Brandy

Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.


Apple Brandy Cooler
2 oz. Christian Brothers Brandy
1 oz. Whaler's Great White Rum
3 oz. Apple juice
1/2 oz. Lime juice
1 tsp. Whaler's Rare Reserve Dark Rum

Shake well with ice.  Strain into tall 10 oz. glass.  Float Dark Rum on surface and add a slice of lime.


Christian Brothers Brandy Cooler
2 oz. Christian Brothers Brandy
5 oz. Lemon-lime soda

Fill a highball glass with ice.  Pour all ingredients and stir well.  Garnish with lemon wedge.


Keoki Coffee
1/2 oz. Christian Brothers Brandy
1/2 oz. Copa De Oro Liqueur
1/2 oz. Godiva Chocolate Liqueur

Combine in coffee mug with hot coffee.  Garnish with whipped cream and dust with powdered cocoa.

Cognac

Ansac Drink Recipes

Pousse Café #2
1 oz. grenadine
1 oz. Crème de menthe
1 oz. green Chartreuse
2 oz. Ansac Cognac

Pour slowly in stated order over back of spoon into cordial glass.

Japanese Cocktail
3 oz. Ansac Cognac
1/2 oz. Monin Almond syrup (orgeat)
1/2 oz. Freshly squeezed lime juice
4 drops Angostura bitters

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a 5 oz. Martini glass. 
Garnish with twist lemon peel.

Cognac Continental
1 oz. Ansac Cognac
1 1/2 oz. Cranberry juice
1/2 oz. Grapefruit juice

Chill a Martini glass and add crushed ice.  Shake ingredients and pour into glass.
