HPNOTIQ Heats Up Holiday Sales With Special POS, Packaging And Themed Drinks

BARDSTOWN, KY-- A blue Christmas?  HPNOTIQ, the aqua drink sensation from Heaven Hill Distilleries that has swept the nation in the past year, is helping retailers and on-premise operators paint the 2004 holiday season in something other than traditional reds and golds this year.

Called "the drink of choice of celebrities" by NBC-TV, HPNOTIQ, an alluring blend of triple distilled vodka, tropical fruit juices and a touch of Cognac, has created special themed point of sale, holiday packaging, consumer advertising and on-premise promotions to support the brand during what is traditionally the number one distilled spirits selling period of the year.  Whether giving the distinctive frosted blue bottle in its special holiday gift carton as a party present, or going out with friends to a bar or restaurant for HPNOTIQ Snowflake Martinis, Heaven Hill is providing all the tools to maximize profits from the most profitable and popular brand in the business today.

To continue and augment HPNOTIQ's incredible retail sales, which have earned it literally all of the major trade industry awards, new materials are available to merchandise the brand through large floor displays.  A motion pole topper, featuring an oversize bottle of HPNOTIQ  with a "For You" gift tag protruding invitingly out of a logoed gift box, will attract attention and sales from all over the account, while a new shimmering case card with a bottle of HPNOTIQ inside a blue and silver ornament will decorate cut cases. 

In keeping with the stylistic, edgy image of the brand, a unique holiday gift carton is available for a limited time to display the brand and for gift giving.  The silver metallic foil carton is open on two sides to showcase the frosted champagne-style bottle, and lends a reflective and minimalist presentation to the HPNOTIQ package. 

Throughout the holidays, when consumption both on and off premise tends to peak across virtually all spirits categories, HPNOTIQ will continue with their award-winning consumer print advertising campaign, effectively targeting and reaching over 120 million impressions in upscale national publications such as Vanity Fair, Food & Wine, Architectural Digest, and Ski.  The advertising campaign employs stylish and arresting optical art that leaps from the page with extraordinary three dimensional designs.  The optical illusions are rendered in HPNOTIQ aqua blue against a white background with the "IT'S HPNOTIQ." tagline and stylish blue bottle below. 

On-premise operators can take advantage of increased seasonal business by using HPNOTIQ bottle glorifiers, neon signs and permanent displays, while featuring seasonal specialties such as the HPNOTIQ Snowflake Martini (2 oz. HPNOTIQ, 1 oz. citrus vodka, splash of white cranberry juice strained into a coconut flake-rimmed martini glass). In addition, table tents, banners, posters and on-premise wearables are also available.
